It’s your BBC

A hackneyed phrase, which grates when there is nothing on that you want to watch, but it now has real meaning.

The BBC has redesigned its homepage so that it can be tailored to meet an individual’s own preferences – and it even works on iMacs.  What is the world coming to?

So now you can have a really girly mauve, trendy taupe or masculine blue tinge to the homepage, put the business and news at the top or go for children and entertainment.  You have to convince it that you really do want to change the weather region to where you actually are but after that you have a three-day forecast based on your postcode.

I used to skip the homepage and go straight to the News or Sport but now I will be catching up on the history of the day and weather reports before I go anywhere else on the site.
